Worthy Brother Knights,

Thanks to all the Knights who helped out with the preparations for Pentecost Mass. Our Grand Knight, Rufino Murillo, and his crew of valiant brothers put up the shade cloth over several days preceding the Mass and did some of the final touches so that all was ready. Thanks to all! Well done, brothers.

The next family rosary is scheduled for Sat., June 14 in the church at 6:30 P.M. It is intended for the whole family and we welcome the company of our wives and children. Bring your rosaries and show your faith.

The next family rosary is scheduled for Sat., May 10 in the church at 6:30 P.M. It is intended for the whole family and we welcome the company of our wives and children. The invitation to attend is extended to every member of St. Joseph’s. Bring your rosaries and show your faith.

The elections of the officers who will guide the council during the following year will take place at our June business meeting. The candidates are:

Grand Knight Rufino Murillo

Deputy Grand Knight Albino Prado

Chancellor Alberto Padilla

Warden Javier Jasso

Treasurer Juan Luis Guerrero

Advocate David Trenado

Inside Guard Jose Hernandez

Outside Guard Vicente Salinas

It requires the participation of all members to make these important decisions. Please attend the June meeting.

Mark your calendars! July 11, 12 & 13 is St. Joseph’s annual Festival. We are going to be asking for a lot of help setting up, manning the booths and picking up trash. We hope that all the Knights will cooperate.

Besides elections, there will be some other pending business to discus during the June meeting. We will be planning another fund raiser for the near future.

And finally, we want to wish all the fathers of the Carpinteria council a very Happy Father’s Day. May God bless you!
