      July 2008

	Worthy Brother Knights,
	The meeting of the membership for July has been changed to the third Friday of the month, July 18. We need everybody’s help for the annual St. Joseph Festival, July 11, 12 & 13. Please dedicate some of your time and talent to help make this festival a success as it has been in the past. The festival is the most important event of the year for raising the funds that our church needs. We will be asking for help with Father Beto’s clean-up team, with Grand Knight Rufino’s food preparation team and in the dime pitch booth with David Farebrother. Please contact these persons to determine where you can help. We thank everyone for their help, especially our family members who are an integral part of the team.
	The next family rosary is scheduled for Sat., July 19 in the church at 6:30 P.M. It is intended for the whole family and we welcome the company of our wives and children. Bring your rosaries and show your faith. Instructions will be passed out as a guide to the proper way of praying the rosary.
	The results of the elections of the officers who will guide the council during the 2008 – 2009 Fraternal Year are:

	Please keep these brothers in your prayers so that by their efforts and dedication they can keep the programs we have developed together working to benefit the entire community.
	There are some pending business items to be discussed in the July meeting, for example we will be planning a fund raiser, perhaps selling fresh juice after Mass or a raffle. We will also be planning the installation of officers to take place in the August membership meeting.
	The July meeting is scheduled for Friday July 18 at 7 P.M. in Room #8 of the school building.
