A resolution for your review, comments and approval. It should be voted on Monday June 16 at the Assembly meeting. The majority of the officers have voted to participated in this very well publicized event. The Knights have been abscent from it for many years. We will make a strong showing with the participation of many Assemblies and Councils. Your blessings and prayers for a successful event is very much appreciated. Thank you all for your support. 	Whereas the Junipero Serra Assembly was asked to participate in the Old Spanish Days "EL Defile Historico" Friday August 1, 2008 to commemorate the 1908 Great White Fleet Flower Festival.
	Whereas a float in the shape of an Italian Gondola covered with flowers was in the 1908 parade.
	Whereas the Knights of Columbus are commemorating 125 years of its founding in N.H. Connecticut.
	Whereas the Junipero Serra Assembly will take the initiative and coordinate the marching Color Corps and the float with other Assemblies, Chapters, Councils and Italian organisations and clubs.
	Whereas the initial cost of participating in the parade is $625.00 consisting of $250 Registration Fee, $175 Third Party Insurance and $200 Cleaning deposit to be refunded.
	Whereas the total cost will be shared by all participant entities.
	Be it Resolved that the Junipero Serra Assembly approves the initial disbursement of $625 for participating in the Fiesta Parade on Friday August 1, 2008.
